Some artists find music. Angie Rose was found by God through it — and she has never looked back.
Born and raised in the Bronx, Angie Rose grew up as a pastor’s daughter and the youngest of 11 siblings, coming to know the Lord at a very young age. She fell in love with God before she even fully understood what love was — a foundation that would later become her lifeline.

But life tested that foundation hard. After painful personal losses, Angie’s faith began to waver. She left the church and turned to drugs and alcohol, walking a dark path for several years. Drugs and alcohol numbed her to life — until the day God broke through.
One day, after taking drugs at a friend’s house, she went home and began to play the piano and sing. As she sang, the numbness she had been carrying felt like it shattered. It was a moment of divine encounter that changed everything.
While battling depression and thoughts of suicide, Angie has since inspired millions worldwide to hold onto faith amidst great pain. That testimony became the fuel for her music and her mission. As a Latina from the Bronx, she has pioneered a lane all her own in Christian music — receiving Latin Grammy and Dove Award nominations for Hip Hop Album of the Year.

Signed to Capitol CMG, Angie has collaborated with artists including Wande and Limoblaze, and has been featured on tracks with Danny Gokey. She also founded the Unstoppable Foundation, using her platform to give back — including supporting communities affected by hurricanes in Puerto Rico.
For Angie Rose, the mission is clear. She has shared openly: “I remember depression killing me slowly, but now I testify God’s glory and healing power across the nations… I remember praying that God would use my scars to heal.”
That prayer has been answered — one verse, one life at a time.
