In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Bryce Andrew and his brand new album titled Bryce.
New York rap continues to evolve, and Bryce Andrew is officially carving his place in it. The Bronx-born artist has just released his debut album, Bryce, and it’s more than a first full-length project; it’s a personal introduction to the man behind the name.
Out now, Bryce is a deeply authentic Hip-Hop/Rap album that captures Bryce Andrew’s journey through life, growth, self-discovery, and the drive to be seen for who he truly is. For listeners looking for real stories and raw emotion over hard-hitting production, this project delivers with purpose.
Raised on Boston Road near Baychester in the Bronx, just across the bridge from Co-op City, Bryce Andrew brings the energy of New York into every track. While his earlier releases reflected different moments and emotions from various chapters of his life, Bryce represents a turning point: the moment where the artist stops holding back and finally presents a complete, evolved version of himself.
“I wanted every element to represent me,” Bryce Andrew explains. While finding beats wasn’t difficult, ensuring the album stayed true to his identity required serious attention to detail. That dedication shows throughout the album’s sound, which stays rooted in the genre Bryce respects most, Hip-Hop/Rap, because of its powerful production and creative freedom.
The album features production from six different producers and composers, each bringing their own flavor. All beats were sourced directly from the producers’ personal YouTube channels, highlighting a modern, independent approach to music-making. The lineup includes two beats from YonxGanger, along with additional production from mightymousemusic, Kakurokunn, DarkTypeBeatss, seadogshanties, and p.a6486, a mix of styles that helps Bryce showcase his versatility across the project.
Adding even more personal weight to the release is a feature from Bryce Andrew’s longtime friend Raymond Gonzalez, known artistically as HB Clipse. The two previously collaborated on Lost My Way, and their bond returns naturally on the album’s “Interlude”, giving the project an even deeper sense of connection and history.
Every track on Bryce was recorded in Lagrangeville, New York, engineered by Eric Dalton, bringing a consistent sonic polish to an album filled with emotion, grit, and self-reflection.
Even the album title carries meaning. With “Bryce” already being used by other artists, Bryce Andrew chose to separate himself the only way that truly matters; through identity. Bryce is named after his first name, while “Andrew” is his middle name, and the project explores what that name represents beyond the surface: not just a label, but a life story.
That same concept carries into the album artwork, which features clothes and items straight from Bryce Andrew’s own closet. It’s a symbolic snapshot of who he is, layered, real, and constantly evolving, while reinforcing his roots as a New York artist with something genuine to say.
With Bryce, Bryce Andrew doesn’t just drop an album, he delivers a statement. This is the sound of an artist stepping into his own lane with confidence, authenticity, and the hunger to be heard.
