Wax Motif House of Wax II album streamIn this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Wax Motif and his brand new album titled House of Wax II.

Globally acclaimed producer and artist Wax Motif officially ushers in the next chapter of his career with the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, House of Wax II, out now on all streaming platforms. Arriving alongside the announcement of a 20-date North American headline tour, the project marks a defining moment for the Australian-born, Los Angeles-based powerhouse, further solidifying his position as one of the most versatile producers bridging electronic music and hip-hop on a global scale.

More than just a follow-up, House of Wax II is a bold, genre-blending statement that showcases Wax Motif’s rare ability to merge sounds in a way few artists have ever achieved. Seamlessly fusing house, hip-hop, R&B, Brazilian funk, Latin energy, and club-driven bass, the album pushes far beyond traditional dance music boundaries while still delivering the kind of precision-built anthems Wax has become known for worldwide.

The LP opens with “You Forget” featuring MAETA, the rising R&B standout known for her Roc Nation co-sign and collaborations with Kaytranada. The track sets an emotive, vocal-forward tone that immediately signals the album’s wider sonic reach. From there, Wax transitions effortlessly into groove-heavy dancefloor heaters like “Touch It” and “Gimme That Money,” bringing his signature bounce and club-ready instincts to the forefront.

Across the project, House of Wax II is elevated by an impressive roster of collaborators that span genres and continents. R&B superstar Ty Dolla $ign appears on “Bad & U Know It,” while three-time Grammy-winning powerhouse Jozzy delivers a standout performance on “What U Want.” Brazilian funk trailblazer MC Lan injects global energy into “Bota,” and hip-hop mainstay 24hrs links with Latin crossover act Juos on the high-octane “Run It Up.”

Electronic legends and tastemakers also leave their mark throughout the album. Grammy-winning icon DJ Jazzy Jeff appears on “Sync Button,” while multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated artist ZHU joins forces with Camden Cox on the melodic and cinematic “Sun Goes Down.” Rising singer-songwriter and producer Sarah De Warren brings an undeniable edge to “Girl On Girl,” further showcasing Wax Motif’s ability to curate voices that fit seamlessly into his world.

While each track hits with its own identity, the album remains cohesive from start to finish, a globally expansive body of work that proves Wax Motif isn’t simply making dance music, but shaping a sound that connects club culture with mainstream influence.

Following the success of his debut album House of Wax, which amassed over 33 million streams, Wax Motif continues to build a reputation as one of the most in-demand creative forces in modern music. His collaborative reach extends far beyond the electronic world, with strong creative ties to industry giants like Kanye West and Timbaland, as well as behind-the-scenes contributions for artists including G-Eazy, Tinashe, and Ty Dolla $ign, plus work on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot.

In 2024, Wax reached new heights as a co-producer on Ty Dolla $ign’s chart-topping album TYCOON, which hit #1 in 80 countries within 24 hours. He also launched his Waxtroda project with Matroda, debuting with a sold-out set at Brooklyn Mirage. Through 2025, Wax kept his momentum unstoppable with a strong run of releases on his Divided Souls imprint, including Beatport Top 10 hits like “Gimme That Money” and “Run It Up,” alongside global collaborations like “BOTA” with MC Lan; all setting the stage for the arrival of House of Wax II.

Now, with this new album officially out, Wax Motif is stepping into 2026 with a sharper, more fully realized vision than ever before.
