Award winning R&B artist The Alxandr returns with Tender Love, a smooth groove led rework of a beloved classic and the first preview of his forthcoming album Without Further Ado. Blending nostalgia with fresh energy, the single marks his return to music on his own terms.

Before stepping away, The Alxandr enjoyed major success in the 90s, landing three Top 40 singles, including a UK Number 1, and securing deals with Warner Bros. Records and Capitol Records. At the height of that success, he chose family life and stepped away to raise his children.

Now, encouraged by his daughter, he returns reinvented and renewed. Raised as the son of a preacher and a classical pianist, he learned to sing a cappella in church before discovering a natural talent for piano, influences that still shape his sound today.

Inspired by the songwriting legacy of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Tender Love brings warmth, bounce and modern soul to the original. Smooth vocals glide over a laid-back groove, honouring the classic while welcoming a new generation.

More than a comeback single, Tender Love signals the start of a new chapter. With Without Further Ado on the horizon, The Alxandr proves that passion never fades.
