Annika Bellamy’s “Palm Tree” is a breezy, feel-good blend of power pop, surf rock, reggae and alt-country. Based out of Long Beach, California, this song, right from the get-go, sounds like the kind of track that you’ll hear all summer long in cafés up and down the coast.

… asun-soaked, genre-blending summer anthem built on hooks, warmth and effortless charm.

The feel-good sound is no doubt a reason why we got into this from the get-go. With the song unfolding, a few of its sub-genres are evident well before the first minute has even come and gone.

Released during her Japan-Philippines tour on the island of Jomalig, “Palm Tree” captures that pop sound that is so infectious these days. It’s a carefree track with lots of hooks and her stunning vocals that sound like they can be blasted all over the airwaves. If you liked what you heard, then be sure to check out her previous singles, all the way back to 2017.
