New York City artist Alwyn Morrison delivers raw emotion and soaring energy on “Everybody Bleeds”. From the start of the song, it sounds a bit jangly, a bit like The Smiths would sound if they were still making music, and as soon as his vocals came in, it took on a new form.

… agenre-blending, emotionally charged indie anthem with real staying power.

It sounds like the perfect blend of alternative rock with some ’80s glam rock moments and ’90s-sounding vocals. The way that Alwyn has been able to blend some sub-genres together to create a track this cohesive is stunning. The track itself explores those hidden struggles that people carry beneath the surface, which I’m sure everybody can relate to in one way or another.

Overall, vocally, instrumentally and production-wise, this is an incredibly strong track and is going to go a long way in getting his name into lots of playlists all over the world. Even though his debut track came out in 2025, it sounds like he is here and he is here to stay, with every release getting tens or hundreds of thousands of plays.
