There’s a certain energy when Juls and Projexx connect and new single ‘Rarri’ keeps that streak alive. Bringing Valiant into the mix, the Ghana, Jamaica and UK link up delivers a track built for late nights and packed dancefloors.

Driven by a hypnotic, bass heavy groove, ‘Rarri’ leans into a grittier sound while still carrying the smooth, melodic touch that’s become synonymous with Juls’ production. Projexx and Valiant glide across the beat with effortless chemistry, creating a track that feels both raw and luxurious at the same time.

Juls describes the record as “gritty, rough, and raw but still smooth and sexy,” calling it a taste of the direction he’s taking this summer, stripped back, energetic and refreshingly new.

Over the past decade, Juls has become one of the key architects behind the global rise of afrobeats and diaspora sounds, collaborating with names including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Stormzy, Lauryn Hill and Tyler, The Creator. Known for his mellow, minimal production style, he continues to push his sound forward following 2024’s Peace and Love and his 2025 MOBO Award win for Best Producer.

Meanwhile, Kingston born Projexx, grandson of legendary dancehall producer King Jammy, continues to carve out his own lane through genre fluid releases and collaborations with artists across the UK, Africa and the Caribbean. His long running creative relationship with Juls has already produced standout records including ‘True Love’, ‘Timing’ and ‘Chance’.

With ‘Rarri’, the trio tap into a bold cross cultural sound that feels tailor made for summer 2026.
