Featuring his trademark “relaxed” vocals and playing, Zoom 97 is the second single from Kurt Vile’s new album, Philadelphia’s been good to me, which will be out May 29th via Verve Records. As Zoom 97 glides along, we’re taking on a car journey through Vile’s thoughts as much as the physical space that he travels through.

Speaking of the new album, Kurt Vile has said: “This is my ‘bringing it all back home to Philly’ record, I’m treating it like my last record [surely not – Ed’]. I put everything into it. It’s my best vocal record. It’s my best electric guitar record. It’s my most organic record, made in the comfort of my own zone.”

Kurt Vile will be undertaking a world tour in 2026, which will take in several venues across the British Isles with stops at:

Sun. Sept. 6 – Dorset, UK @ End of the Road

Mon. Sept. 7 – Bristol, UK @ The Crane

Tue. Sept. 8 – Brighton, UK @ Chalk

Wed. Sept. 9 – London, UK @ Troxy

Fri. Sept. 11 – Manchester, UK @ The Ritz

Sat. Sept. 12 – Birmingham, UK @ XOYO

Sun. Sept. 13 – Glasgow, UK @ SWG3 TV Studio

Mon. Sept. 14 – Dublin, IE @ Vicar Street

Tue. Sept. 15 – Leeds, UK @ Project

Those in the South of England (or further if you’re happy to travel more) could also consider hopping across to St Malo to catch a gig on August 15th. Check out the full dates to see easily reachable by Eurostar gigs in other parts of our lovely greater European landscape.
