Suffolk alt-pop artist Loome returns with YOUFORIA, a sophomore album driven by glowing hooks, sharp guitars, and a self-made sonic identity.

Produced alongside Jason La Rocca, the record blends rough texture with clean pop lift, keeping Loome’s sound bright, direct, and unmistakably his own.

Across LET U KNOW, The Shakedown, and Tears In Rain, YOUFORIA moves between high-energy alt-pop, guitar-driven momentum, and intimate emotional detail.

Talking about the album, Tomas explains:

At the start of August 2025 I challenged myself to write an album in 6 weeks, when all I had was the title ‘YOUFORIA’. I felt the most inspired in my creative career to push the boundaries of what could be done and the songs just kept coming. I ended up writing 10 songs in total all celebrating YOU. Romanticing every bit of life, even the weaknesses, the failures and the shortcomings. Not hiding them, but celebrating them as part of life. Diamond Skin came first and ironically has tinges of mourning the loss of creative inspiration. Little did I know it would be the start of my most prolific 6 weeks as a songwriter, ever. I hope this album reminds people that they are the main character in their movie. Iconic, flawed but above all else real.

That idea sits at the centre of YOUFORIA: self-celebration without fake perfection. The album turns flaws, failures, and emotional mess into part of the design.

Following debut album ASTROHEARTS, Loome has built momentum through national radio attention, festival appearances, headline shows, editorial playlist support, and a growing international fanbase.

As the solo project of Suffolk’s Tomas Frankson, Loome remains rooted in a one-room home studio setup, where he writes, plays, and engineers much of the work himself.

With YOUFORIA, Loome sharpens his alt-pop world into something bigger, brighter, and more emotionally direct. Main character energy, wires still showing.
