Acclaimed actress Lydie Denier has been personally invited by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco to attend the 65th Annual Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo, one of the world’s most prestigious celebrations of television excellence.

Denier, best known for her iconic portrayal of Jane Porter in the internationally beloved television series Tarzan (1991–1995), will join Kurt Russell and other distinguished actors who have also been invited to this year’s milestone festival. All invited guests will be honoured at the event for their contributions to television and their enduring impact on audiences worldwide.

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival, founded in 1961 by Prince Rainier III of Monaco, continues to attract the brightest stars and most influential creators in global entertainment. This year’s 65th edition will celebrate excellence in television storytelling whilst honouring some of the industry’s most respected figures.

“I am deeply honoured by this invitation from His Serene Highness Prince Albert II,” said Denier. “The Monte-Carlo Television Festival has always represented the highest standard of artistic achievement in television. To be recognised amongst such extraordinary talent is truly humbling.”

Denier’s career spans film, television, authorship, and humanitarian work. Beyond her celebrated role in Tarzan, she has appeared in numerous productions across Europe and the United States, earning acclaim for her versatility and timeless screen presence.

The 65th Annual Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo will take place in June 2026 at the Grimaldi Forum, bringing together actors, producers, and industry leaders from around the world to celebrate excellence in television storytelling.
