Well that’s it from us for this week. Regular readers will no doubt be sick to death now of me plugging this guy but his stuff is so good and as if any more proof was needed, have a listen to this new version of an old (well, 2024) song this time featuring Waxahatchee, a studio recording of a cover Katie Crutchfield has been performing live for some time but which is out today on a deluxe vesion of the “Box for Buddy” album. The track includes backing vocals from This is Lorelie aka Nate Amos himself – he obviously gets americana, it’s no one time thing. Crutchfield said “I think Nate is one of the best songwriters of this moment, making music that feels current and timeless and also somehow ahead of a curve. When I heard ‘Where’s Your Love Now?’ I thought it was one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.” How’s that for a recommendation! There’s also a fantastic live version here.

Take care, don’t forget Palestine and keep fighting those fascists, including Jesus/the doctor. See you next week.
