London-based alt-R&B/pop artist Tala Yunis enters a new chapter with her sophomore EP All IN TIME, arriving ahead of the EP is her latest single, “God’s Favourite.” It feels less like a milestone and more like a quiet statement of self-belief.

Yunis has been steadily building momentum, with her music featured in Love Is Blind and Ginny & Georgia, but what sets her apart is her story. Born in Palestine, raised in Israel, and now based in London, her artistry lives in the in-between, shaped by cultural duality, migration, and identity.

As a queer artist, Yunis brings a rare honesty to her work, one rooted in lived experience rather than easy narratives. “God’s Favourite” captures that emotional push and pull, pairing lo-fi textures, soft guitar, and hazy vocals with lyrics about the highs and doubts of chasing something bigger. It is a song about persistence more than arrival.

That same feeling carries through All IN TIME. Moving away from her earlier indie influences, Yunis reconnects with the sounds she grew up on, drawing from artists like SZA and 070 Shake to create something more fluid and personal. The result is a project that feels both more refined and more exposed.

At its core, the EP reflects growth. Yunis steps into a more confident version of herself, embracing her identity and allowing that evolution to shape the music. With growing support from Spotify, BBC Introducing, and her live shows, she is not just building momentum, she is defining her own space.

All IN TIME suggests an artist learning to trust her path, even when it feels uncertain.
