The self-proclaimed “Glam Punk Goth ’n’ Roll” outlaws Gypsy Pistoleros have officially unleashed their most theatrical and feral statement to date. Their new album, Dark Faerie Tales: A Fairytale for the Damned, arrived last month via The New Church Records and Plastichead. Produced by long-time conspirator Dave Draper, the record is a high-voltage collision of glam excess, punk danger, and gothic theatre.
To celebrate the release, the band recently shared a savage video for their third single, “King of Almost Everything”. The track serves as a cinematic takedown of false idols and hollow power, further cementing the band’s reputation for unapologetically confrontational music. Fans can still grab the record in several striking formats, including neon purple and neon green splatter vinyl.
With the album now out in the wild, the band’s full-scale UK assault is just around the corner, beginning next Thursday. Special guests James Kennedy & The Underdogs will be joining for much of the run, which kicks off at London’s Underworld. The tour includes an album launch party in Worcester and several festival appearances, including Rebellion and Breaking Bands.
