Uncork’d Entertainment will plunge audiences into darkness with the release ofBLACKOUT, arriving on Digital and On Demand platformsMay 5.

Written and directed by Shane Aquino (Road Dogs),this psychological horror/thriller stars indie actor Mike Ferguson, whose 185+ credits have made him a familiar face in genre filmmaking. Blending psychological horror with sci-fi elements, the film plays like a stripped-down, indie cousin to Weapons—a haunting liminal space thriller where reality fractures into eerie, in-between worlds.

Synopsis: After a sudden power outage, people awaken to a world cast in eternal night. Each is trapped in their own isolated version of reality. Soon, they are confronted by mysterious figures known as The Ushers, who claim they can lead them to a place where a final irreversible choice must be made.

BLACKOUTalso stars actor and pro wrestler Twana Barnett, with Riley Ryan making her debut as Suzanna.
