Swedish artist Venus Anon has returned with “gentle”, a new single exploring restraint, anger, and the conscious decision to choose softness when conflict feels close at hand.

Written during a three month stay in a remote cabin, the track became an emotional release point while Venus began shaping ideas for her debut album, expected in 2027. Built from instinctive experimentation with guitar tunings and reworked melodies from older material, “gentle” balances intimacy with an undercurrent of tension.

Speaking on the track, Venus describes it as a reflection of “choosing peace every day” despite carrying anger beneath the surface, a theme that gives the song its quiet intensity.
