Antonius Feels RightIn this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Antonius and his brand new single titled “Feels Right”.

Emerging alternative R&B artist Antonius steps further into his cinematic sonic world with the release of his new single, “Feels Right”, out now. Drawing listeners into a haze of nostalgia, desire, and emotional uncertainty, the track showcases Antonius’ ability to blend intimate storytelling with atmospheric production, continuing to define his distinctive artistic identity.

Built upon shimmering 80s-inspired synthesisers, hypnotic arpeggiated textures, and the emotional honesty of 90s R&B, “Feels Right” feels both timeless and deeply contemporary. Influenced by the moody alternative R&B stylings of The Weeknd and Montell Fish, while also drawing from the melancholic romanticism of Lana Del Rey and the soft, hypnotic delivery of Aaliyah, Antonius creates a soundscape that is hauntingly immersive yet emotionally restrained.

Created organically within his bedroom studio, Antonius approached the song instinctively, building the instrumental first and allowing the mood to guide the melodies and lyrics naturally. Spending hours looping the production and sitting within its atmosphere, he gradually shaped the emotional core of the record. The result is a track that feels deeply personal while remaining universally relatable.

Lyrically, “Feels Right” explores the emotional contradictions of a situationship, the intoxicating space where desire feels genuine and irresistible, despite the instability lingering underneath. Antonius captures the tension between vulnerability and impulse with cinematic precision, portraying the blurred lines between emotional connection and temporary escape. The chorus encapsulates this emotional push and pull, surrendering to feelings that may not make sense logically but feel undeniable in the moment.

Following the release of his debut single “Temptation”, Antonius continues to establish a signature sound rooted in emotional tension, sonic clarity, and understated vulnerability. His artistry extends beyond music alone. With a background in editorial and campaign modelling, including appearances in Selin Magazine and Out & Out Magazine, alongside runway work in New York for designers such as Peleg Assulin and Mario Benton, Antonius brings a carefully curated visual sensibility into every release. Each song exists as part of a broader aesthetic vision where music, fashion, and atmosphere seamlessly intersect.

Already gaining recognition from publications including Voyage ATL, Antonius is quickly carving out a unique lane within the alternative R&B space; one defined not by excess, but by mood, restraint, and emotional depth.

With “Feels Right”, Antonius delivers a seductive and emotionally charged listening experience that lingers long after the final note, further cementing his emergence as one of alternative R&B’s most compelling new voices.
