The Isle Of Wight festival welcomes concert-goers from today (June 18) but the live music doesn’t get under way until Friday, June 19.

The highlight of the weekend for me is The Cure’s headline set on Sunday, but with other artists including the Sex Pistols with frontman Frank Carter, Feeder, Suzanne Vega, The Twilight Sad, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg and Shed Seven set to play, I’ll be zoned in on all the weekend’s music.

To watch The Cure, Sky Arts will be showing the performance from 9pm BST on Sunday, June 21.

The Cure’s 2026 plans
Following Sunday night’s headline slot at the Isle Of Wight Festival, The Cure will continue their run of live shows with a set at Cardiff’s Blackwater Fields on June 24, Dublin’s Marlay Park on June 26, and Belsonic in Belfast on June 28.
Robert Smith and co will then play further shows across Europe throughout the summer, before returning to the UK for performances in Manchester and Edinburgh towards the end of August. They’ll wrap up the current run at Rock En Seine in Paris on August 30.
