New York City singer-songwriter Julia Wolf returns with Deep End, a track caught between emotional confusion, attachment, and the pull of a connection that starts to drag you under.
Directed by Lucy Sandler, the video extends that world while keeping the focus on Wolf’s writing: heavy, lived-in, and sharp enough to sting.
Wolf explains:
‘Deep End’ is about the confusion of someone’s mind and the way I’d drown to keep a connection alive, while going through the distractions and doubt I experience in the process.
That tension sits at the centre of the track. Deep End does not over-explain the collapse. It holds the feeling in close detail: doubt, distraction, emotional overcommitment, and the blurred line between devotion and self-erasure.

The release lands during a major breakout phase for Wolf. Her Deep End World Tour will take her across 33 cities in North America, the UK, and Europe this autumn, with many dates already largely sold out. Bee Blackwell joins the North American leg, while Wolf’s close collaborator and producer Scro opens the UK and European dates.
The momentum follows In My Room, Wolf’s RIAA Gold-certified single from her album PRESSURE, released via AWAL. The track spent 10 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and has pushed into the Top 15 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, turning Wolf’s internal, diaristic writing style into something with serious reach.
That rise has also moved across major collaborations. Wolf made her Billboard Hot 100 debut through Drake’s DOG HOUSE, appeared on Yeat’s My Way, and had her vocals sampled by fakemink on 51 Ttashpel Pony Ave.
Festival slots at Lollapalooza, Hinterland, Reading, and Leeds keep the heat on before the headline tour.
With Deep End, Julia Wolf tightens the breakthrough: sharper writing, stronger visuals, and emotional overload turned into campaign momentum.
