Lucy Crisp, based in Nottingham, England, has recently delivered a bold and empowering statement with her 2026 release ” Snakes and Ladders”.

    … a sun-soaked, synth-driven anthem bursting with bold energy.

Lucy Crisp reveals the pulsating new single, Snakes and Ladders

The sound of Sunkissed Synths literally bursts into your ears as soon as the track kicks off. For me, this seems like it’s been released at the perfect time when Europe is basking in glorious sunshine and clear skies.

As soon as those bright synths go, there is this big pulsating bass line with Lucy’s vocals dominating the proceedings. As the track goes on, the drums become more prominent, and it erupts in the chorus with some infectious hooks that will have you leaning into her previous tracks and releases. There is no shadow of a doubt that this track is going to be one of her all-time greats. Considering this is her first single of the year, this sounds like she is returning to form and will be once again on the lips of many. So just do yourself a favour and listen to Lucy Crisp as soon as you can.

Be sure to check out the full single on Spotify, as it has her previous two tracks acting as the B-sides. The whole three-track release is a great insight into what she is all about.
