    Clover County

Emerging Georgia singer/songwriter Clover County, whose debut album, Finer Things, was released in September 2025 via her own label Undercover Lover Records in partnership with Thirty Tigers, has announced a short series of tour dates in the UK and Ireland.

Produced by Carrie K (Noah Kahan, Maggie Antone, Koe Wetzel), Finer Things is a coming-of-age soundtrack that explores romantic, familial and platonic love with a winking charm and an observing eye. Clover County shared: “Finer Things is the shoebox I keep under my bed full of old love letters and trinkets I can’t quite let go of. It’s polaroids, bottle caps, and plane tickets. It’s a memorial for all the ways I’ve loved and been loved.

This record lives within the lines of country with its own indie/alternative twists, as a songwriter from the south with a love for the classics, I wanted to nod to legacy artists like Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, and Sheryl Crow, while also drawing from the modern textures and tones of Hovvdy, Adrienne Lenker, Waxahatchee, Courtney Barnett, and MJ Lenderman.”

Single Virginia Slim unfolds like the green rolling hills of Georgia’s Blood Mountain, where she was inspired to write the song. Speaking about the single, Clover County said: “Virginia Slim is about falling for the idea of someone more than the actual person. After months on the road and too many blurred connections, I was burnt out. This song became a way to be honest with myself: about craving comfort, about romanticising what’s in front of me and about choosing to protect a friendship instead of rushing into something I wasn’t ready for. Brad Cook helped me write the last few lines, including the most important of the whole song – ‘It’s been a long time since I’ve known love that wasn’t war.’ My two favourite instruments on this song are the Zippo lighter and the fiddle.” You can listen to Virginia Slims below.

Clover County is making her UK & Ireland live debut playing a joint headline tour with Jack Van Cleaf, May 6 to May 12, and a spot on Highways Festival at London’s Royal Albert Hall, May 16. Dates are listed below, and tickets can be found at this link.
