Hella Rock Festival are proud to announce that American groove masters Crobot will be playing the Phil Campbell stage at this year’s Hella Rock Festival!

Known for their signature blend of groove-laden riffs swagger and explosive live energy, Crobot have built a reputation as one of the most compelling modern forces in hard rock. Fronted by Brandon Yeagley, alongside guitarist Chris Bishop, bassist Willie Jansen and drummer Nico Jansen. the band deliver a sound rooted in “dirty groove rock”: raw, unfiltered, and unmistakably their own.

Crobot’s inclusion on this year’s bill also provides a poignant link to the legacy being honoured at Hella Rock Festival 2026. In 2015, the band toured alongside Motörhead on their 40th anniversary run; a historic series of shows that would mark the final tour of the legendary group led by Lemmy Kilmister. Those performances placed Crobot on stage during the closing chapter of one of rock’s most influential bands.

Hella Rock Festival Director, James Pilling comments on their addition:

We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Crobot to this year’s Hella Rock Festival. They bring a massive, groove-driven sound and a real modern edge that fits perfectly with what we’re building: big riffs, high energy, and unforgettable live shows. Crobot’s connection to this festival comes full circle, having joined Motörhead on their final US tour in 2015, which adds a real sense of history to this year’s lineup. For the first time at Hella Rock Festival, we’re also opening up a second stage, The Roadcrew Stage, which will host acoustic sets from The Soul Revival, Jack J Hutchinson and Black Water Fiend, giving fans a whole new way to experience the festival.

Needless to say, Hella Rock just got dirtier, groovier and most importantly, louder. Crobot have been missing on the UK scene and they made a triumphant return last year after more than six years away. So we can’t wait to see them once more! We’re going to be continuing to shout about this festival from the rooftops as the first two years have been incredible and this looks to be the best one yet. From the minute doors open until the minute we’re kicked out of the venue because the staff have homes to go to, we’ll be there!

Hella Rock Festival 2026 will take place at HMV Empire in Coventry on 5th September. Tickets are available here.
