Paddy Elliott-Walker, the Manchester, England-based alternative artist, delivers a track called “The Barbeque Fender”. It’s an incredible track with some insane vocals right from the get-go, while laced with a dreamy, wavy guitar line that sounds like it belongs on the West Coast of the USA, so sun-soaked and surfy.

… asun-soaked alt-pop standout driven by soaring vocals and surfy, cinematic guitar textures.

The range of his voice is something to behold here, with wonderful highs, delicious yelps, and smooth moments that will certainly grab your attention from the very first listen. He sounds like the kind of artist who is incredibly understated, the type of artist who really just needs that one viral song and everyone is going to know him. Everyone is going to head into his previous songs and everyone is going to want to see him live doing his thing.

For me, the walk from this song, with the alt-pop and folky sensibilities, really brings it home. Once you’re in the latter third of the track, you’re certainly going to be checking out his live listings to see when he’s performing next, much like I did.
